The 3rd International Conference on Sociology of Korea (I-CSK) will be held October 18-19, 2024 in the James Joo-Jin Kim Center for Korean Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

With the last two conferences, I-CSK has become an important venue where graduate students, junior and senior researchers get together to share their projects on contemporary Korea and Korean diaspora.

This year the 3rd I-CSK features a plenary session of Professor Pyong Gap Min, Distinguished Professor of Sociology, Graduate Center and Queens College of the City University of New York.

The deadline to submit an extended abstract or full paper is July 10, 2024. The Committee invites you all to submit your abstract/paper for presentation at the 3rd I-CSK.
