The Academy of Korean Studies has conducted the Study on Reciprocity and Cooperation in 21st Century Korean Society as a collective research project(PI, Do Hyun Han, prof of Sociology), accumulating seven years of survey data. This dataset is now available for research.


Graduate students and advanced undergraduate students, both in Korea and internationally, are invited to review the survey questionnaire and submit a research proposal. Selected researchers will receive access to the dataset and present their findings at the Research Workshop (July 31 – August 2, 2025), where they will receive feedback.


Eligibility:

• Graduate students and advanced undergraduate students (Korean and international)


Application Requirements

• Review the 2018–2024 survey and submit a research proposal

o Survey URL: see above (Survey questions are available in Korean only)

Submission deadline: March 31, 2025, 5:00 PM (KST)

Mandatory participation in the workshop (July 31 – August 2, 2025)

o Present research findings based on a draft paper (in Korean or English)
