This October, the KSAA Emerging Researchers Group brings you "Communicating Asia: Making Asia Relatable through the Senses."

In this online seminar, Gilbert Jacob S. Que, PhD Candidate at La Trobe University and Instructor at the Ateneo de Manila University, shares his insights and experiences on teaching Asia. His talk takes inspiration from Asia as Method, which redirects scholarship to a more Asian perspective. But beyond regular classroom discussions, this talk proposes that Asia can be made more relatable through the teacher as both a scholar and a communicator, as well as sensorial experiences that leave more impressions on the students, influencing interest.

Date: 1 October 2024 (Tuesday)

Time: 5PM Seoul/ 4PM Perth/ 6PM Melbourne/ 8PM Auckland

Zoom link will be emailed closer to the seminar date

About the Speaker:
